Description
Interior of the containment building at the Trojan nuclear power station, Rainier, Oregon. In the centre of the frame is the reactor core, under 35 feet (11 metres) of water. On each side of the core are the four generators that make superheated steam. This steam is then piped to the main electricity generating turbines in an adjacent building.
